One card, so somebody knows where you are
The Trekkers' Information Management System records who is on which trail and when. It helps rescue teams and district offices respond quickly, and every trekker in Nepal needs a card.

Book with a member agency
Your agency applies on your behalf and keeps a copy of your details.

Submit passport and itinerary
Passport copy, photograph, insurance details, dates and route are recorded.

Carry the card on the trail
Show it at TIMS checkpoints so your movement is logged accurately.
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Card fees are set jointly by the Nepal Tourism Board and TAAN and are subject to revision.
